Carolyn is a highly sought after leadership coach and COO at the NC Rural Center. She has spent 25 years building and leading mission driven enterprises, and helping companies navigate in public crisis in leadership and culture.

Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Peace College. Later, at Duke University, she became certified in Nonprofit Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.  Carolyn has pursued a progressive and consistent approach to professional development in her own right, attaining Senior Certified Professional Certification with the Society of Human Resources Management.  

Carolyn believes in conscious living and encourages others to move from a subconscious mindset to being more conscious. She is an avid runner, and enjoys hot yoga, hiking, and, international travel.
